In early May, the Kunstenfestivaldesarts and Laplan organised a workshop tied to The Stone Road, the exhibition by the Brusselsbased collective Firefly. Participants in the workshop, like the artists themselves, were challenged to create a picture story based on their impressions of the Bergensesteenweg / Chaussée de Charleroi. Armed with their cameras, on the first day theymade their way up the road. One week later, the group discussed their pictures and stories. To finish off, the participants visited the Firefly exhibition at Argos. Selected photographs from the workshop are on show in the stairwell at deMarkten under the denominator ‘N6’.
